Townhomes at Treaty Oaks
The townhomes are an addition to the backside of Treaty Oaks Cottages. Miken acquired an industrial building, excess land, and an abandoned alley to connect the two communities and create walkability + an improved street grid. Two of the 21 units are deed restricted affordable units sold to public school teachers. Highland Homes was the general contractor on this project developed by Miken Projects.

Treaty Oaks Cottages
A walkable cottage community in the heart of the Nations. Treaty Oaks is an example of missing middle housing in Nashville, aimed to create lower price points with different housing sizes. Homes ranges from 1,000 sf two bedrooms to 1,600 sf 3 bedroom homes. All homes face a common courtyard on the interior and parking is relegated to the exterior, which creates better neighbor and community interaction.
